The farm Piet Zyn Drift is more than 100 years old, located in the Mpumalanga Province 60km

from a small town called Amersfoort in South Africa.

After my Father passed away at the age of 3 years I was raised by my grand parents – two unbelievable people! 

Here I was introduced to a quality of life most people can only dream of. I still carry these qualities with me today!

My grand father was a wise man with a heart of gold – respected by everybody!

Things were not easy in his days as a boy during the depression years, especially the 1930’s.  

Many years later I still remember him saying:   ”One of my biggest wishes was for my Father to see my success

at the peak of my life” – the land was covered with cattle, sheep and plantations as far as the eye could see.

As a 4 year old boy I was introduced to “Stuka”, my first ever Boerboel .

Together Piet Zyn Drift was just too small for the two of us and a new era in my life was ignited.

Today I wish my grand father could see my passion and love for this magnificent animal!
