I hope everything is well with you and the rest of the family? How is your Piet-Zyn-Drift Boerboel doing?
There are two main events every year where you can get involved together with your Boerboel where both of you can go and show the World what you are made off. The most exciting are the shows that takes place once a year and the other is the Gradings that takes place throughout the year! Both are explained in detail underneath – see Shows and Gradings.
GradingsThe Grading days will take place on specific dates through out South Africa as well as the rest of the world through out the year. As soon as your Boerboel reaches maturity, this is normally at the age of 15-months+, he\she will be ready to be evaluated which then also means that your Boerboel will be registered (good idea is to do a second evaluation at a later stage when he\she becomes more senior together with better development and much more maturity – this will definitely ensure a higher percentage on the second grading).
ShowsWe are extremely excited to invite you and your Boerboel\s to the South African Regional shows and to the World Boerboel Show in South Africa! 2007 was a huge success for Piet Zyn Drift: Achieved 56 places at Regional Shows and achieved 27 places at National South African Championships!!! 2008 was even more successful: Achieved 54 places in South Africa with 45 qualifications for the first ever World Boerboel Championships held in South Africa! With a phenomenal 26 places achieved in the World with 4 World Championships!!! We strongly believe that there are many other “Champions” out there who did not compete in 2007 or 2008 and also believes that there are even more Champions in 2009 who we would like to invite to participate! The Boerboel Shows are an ideal opportunity to show his\her qualities as well as all the efforts you’ve put into your Boerboel, to the rest of the world! This is a show for all Boerboels from the age of 6 weeks up to the older seniors, 6 years and older! There will be an age category for your Boerboel, Male or Female, to compete against the rest of the World’s best! All the Regional Shows will first take place in the different regions through out South Africa where 3-6 Boerboels per category can qualify to participate in the main event, the World Boerboel Show! Please come and join us it is allot of fun for everybody! We want to see every Piet Zyn Drift Boerboel qualifying for the 2009 World Boerboel Show! There are many sponsors, big prizes, media coverage, photos and DVD’s will also be available on these days. This will be fun for the whole Family and you get to see many other Boerboels and also the Brothers and Sisters of your own baby.
